Thanks to everyone who bought tickets and took a chance to join us for dinner! Your support will help fund our ongoing overhead costs in 2012. We’ve already got two amazing dinners in the works with Food Forward and Larchmont Charter School‘s garden and school lunch program!
Check us out on OWN!
Watch the video! (It’s hard – in just one minute! – to do justice to Luc Chamberland of Pickleweed Point, seen here briefly, & to all the folks who make Closed on Mondays possible!)
Our first milestone! It happened so fast we can hardly believe it. Thanks to all the chefs who’ve joined us to cook, thanks to the Canele community, and thanks to everyone who keeps coming back to eat with us again and again to raise much-needed funds for local food projects. More dinners coming soon!
Join us at GOOD LA’s launch party!
Community Sharing Center: Bring what you don’t want, take what you need! Sharers from across the city will be bringing their homegrown veggies, canned goods, baked creations, leftover furnishings, unwanted clothing, and special skills, to trade, swap, or donate. Bring your clean, usable goods and services to share and share alike.
Meet us and other swappers at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. when people will talk about what they brought. Presented by Echo Park Time Bank, Arroyo Time Bank, Closed on Mondays, NeighborGoods, LA Food Swap, swear on our friendship.
